Moon 101 is one of two sculptures created during the Rehoboth Beach Residency in the summer of 2021. The other sculpture which is also the same size is called Sun 101. This piece takes Monaghan's egg shell technique and applies it to a sculpture for the very first time. Like all of Monaghan's work, if you look into the piece you will see various faces, or spirits, within the work.
