This diptych black and white is made of two repurposed canvas Monaghan found at a second hand store in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware in the United States. As a continuance of the black and white series that was initiated in 2012, this newest piece examines space, texture, light and flow. The most recent of the diptych works, its predecessors being the works "Cattails" and "A Bend In Time", This piece, and all of the pieces in the series, is made with egg shells, gesso and oil pastels.
