This piece was found by Monaghan on his way to visit his friend and gallerist Loni Efron Art Gallery. He brought it to the collaborative painting session with legendary street artist Al Diaz (aka SAMO). Monaghan asked Al to make a mark on the object that he had prepped with gesso in preparation for their meeting. Monaghan then completed the piece on his own back at his studio.
