Orion's Belt 3 is one of the smallest of the black night sky aka space series of works. It is smaller then most of the works in the series. It is one of the few pieces in the series that comes already framed. This piece, as well as the other works in this series, was initiated when Monaghan began building his upstate Artist Retreat and marveled at the expensive night sky above the mountains.
