Father Son also known as Brown to Green is one of Monaghan's abstract works that was created just prior to the events of 911. After 911 he embarked on American Beauty 911 which dominated the series that followed. Father Son explores earth tones and their interaction. Like most of Monaghan's work, there are various faces and characters hidden in the piece. Created with his signature egg shells, the piece is deep with texture and color.
