This painting, a large cardboard piece that was used as the floor workspace for Monaghan's time making the Rehoboth Residency works, is perhaps the best work from that series. The piece morphed into a full representation of Monaghan's "alienation of tm" that is one of his most recognized images. It is the image from the magnet he uses at his various shows throughout the country, the same alien (ghost) figure only shown as a full figure. In this image the figure appears in a a field of cattails holding on to his crotch, a sign of supreme masculinity.
