This triptych black and white is made of 3 12'/9" canvas boards. This triptych is a continuation of Monaghan's black and white works that were created during his 2021 Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, United States, residency. As a continuance of the black and white series that was initiated in 2012, these pieces examines space, texture, light and flow. One of the more minimalist of the series this piece leaves space for breath and movement in the journey of discovery in looking at the work.
